From the entrance to the stockroom, one standard across your stores.

No two stores or warehouses run the same way. RIME uses the cameras and sensors already on site to show you what's happening at each location, and alerts you against the standards you set.

The branch journey

Four stops, and a number that moves at each one.

Every store runs through four stops: the entrance, the shop floor, the checkout and the stockroom. At each one, here's a moment that happens, and what RIME gives you at that exact spot.

  1. 01

    Entrance and footfall

    What happens

Saturday evening fills the store, while the rota still assumes a quiet weekday.

    What you get from RIME
    • Visitors counted by the hour and by the day
    • Each store's peak curve, set against its shift schedule
    • Stores compared on the same day and at the same hour
    The number that moves

A rota that follows the peak curve, instead of the same staffing every day of the week.

  2. 02

    Shop floor and shelves

    What happens

A fast-moving aisle runs out of stock while a floor staffer is on the phone.

    What you get from RIME
    • Uniform on the floor, and gloves and hairnets in food sections
    • Phone use on the floor beyond the limit you set
    • How visitors spread across sections and peak hours
    • Empty shelves, and how long they take to refill
    The number that moves

Hours each item is on the shelf, and the shift's professional-appearance score.

  3. 03

    Checkout

    What happens

Five customers wait, one of three tills is open, and baskets start to appear by the exit.

    What you get from RIME
    • An alert when a till has no staff and customers are waiting
    • Cash-drawer openings with no linked sale, with the clip attached
    • Visitors compared with transactions, for your conversion rate
    • Line length and open tills, with an alert past the limit you set
    The number that moves

Conversion rate, and the drawer incidents that need review.

  4. 04

    Freezers and stockroom

    What happens

A freezer sensor sends a reading that needs a look before the products are affected.

    What you get from RIME
    • Opening and closing times, and the minutes late, day by day
    • Temperature and humidity sensors for fridges and freezers
    • Heat and smoke safety sensors
    • The stockroom or back exit opened outside set hours
    The number that moves

Minutes late to open, and hours outside the cold range.

The cases above are illustrative.

FAQ

Questions on installation, privacy and pricing are answered on the pricing and compliance pages.

Does RIME need new cameras in the store?

RIME works with the compatible cameras already in your stores and warehouses. Sensors are added only where you need extra data, such as fridge temperature.

How does RIME calculate conversion rate?

It compares the visitors your cameras count coming in with the number of sales transactions in the same period.

Can I compare stores with each other?

Yes. RIME gives you one view across locations, so you can compare traffic, performance and cases on the same day and at the same hour.

Does RIME cover warehouses too?

Yes: opening and closing times, the stockroom or back exit opened outside set hours, and temperature, humidity and safety sensors.
