RIME × Imperial College London cover: Tech Founders London phase
The program's London phase runs with Founders Factory in partnership with Imperial College London.

RIME has been selected for Tech Founders, the program that prepares Saudi technology founders to grow and expand into international markets. Waleed Alayyad represented RIME in the program's London phase.

About the program

Tech Founders is run by the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE) at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. It is aimed at founders of tech startups that already have customers and are ready to scale, and it runs over 15 weeks in three stages:

  • Training bootcamp (1 week): an intensive start on leadership, execution and growth.
  • International incubation (6 weeks): in-person programming abroad. In London, it is delivered with Founders Factory in partnership with Imperial College London, through workshops, masterclasses and one-to-one sessions.
  • Digital incentives (8 weeks): a growth stage in which founders can apply for financial incentives through the National Technology Development Program (NTDP).

Along the way, founders get mentorship from international entrepreneurs, introductions to local and international investors, and access to global tech events.

Why it matters for RIME

The London phase put RIME's physical-AI platform in front of a wider network of mentors, investors and partners, at a point when RIME is preparing its platform for larger, multi-branch enterprises. It builds on RIME's focus on serving multi-branch operators from Saudi Arabia, with its entire team based in the Kingdom.
